Former NFL star running back and Georgia Bulldog great Herschel Walker is taking a stand against the national anthem protesters and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Also Walker is fired up for his support of America’s military heroes and first responders.
In his patriotic support for one of our military and emergency services, Walker has come up with a super prize. A free customized, hand-painted, American-made 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 which is valued at $80,000.
The former Heisman Trophy winner does not hold anything back on the national anthem and the commissioner.
“I absolutely think the protests are so upsetting, and I blame the commissioner. I know people are going to be angry when I say it, but he should have stopped the protests at the very beginning.”
“Guys, let me tell you this,” he said. “Our flag is very special, and black lives matter, but what we should do is go to Washington after the season and protest there instead. We have young men and women fighting for the flag. And we have to respect the White House.”
Herschel Walker later went on to speak about President Trump as he is known the president since the 80’s as he played for the New Jersey Generals of the short lived USFL.
“He is a good man. I think they need to give him a chance.”
