Yes folks, it has happened after just eight episodes NBC has decided to take Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly off the air at least two episodes earlier then they had planned due to her repeatedly bad ratings.
If you recall on July 25th I published an article called The Self Proclaimed Queen Of Media Is In Big Trouble stating that Megyn Kelly’s show has pulled in disastrous rating for the third straight week. In my previous mentioned article I point out that Kelly’s show was getting fewer viewers than old episodes of America’s Funniest Home Videos and 60 Minutes. But according to an article in the New York Post, Megyn Kelly’s show was announced as a limited run and it would after the end of Sunday Night Football. It has been reported that NBC was trying for ten episodes but it became clear with Megyn’s downward spiral that they to end the misery after just eight episodes.
But leave it to the spin masters at NBC to work angle that would try to minimize the negative of Kelly’s disaster on Sunday nights. The angle that the spin masters of NBC claims that Megyn Kelly’s show was going off the air because she needs to have more free time to focus on her new morning show Megyn Kelly Today which makes its debut on September 25th. In other words, Kelly needs to do everything in her able to not ruin the crown jewel franchise The Today Show.
Executives at NBC have been freaking out about the poor ratings of Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly so they are probably hoping that Megyn does not do any more harm than she has already done to the network in the very short time she has been there.
This just shows how delusional mainstream media has gotten that they are planning to use the host of a show that has miserably failed on their crown jewel.
