DOJ House Cleaning Has Begun

You can bet the Democrats and Liberals are going to be screaming that AG Jeff Sessions is doing as payback for the false narrative of him working for the Russians.  But the Attorney General is doing nothing that any incoming Attorney General would do when they take over the Justice Department.

If you are wondering what I am talking about, Jeff Sessions just showed the door to almost all of the United States Attorneys that was appointed by Obama.  According to an article from the Washington Examiner:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Friday asked the remaining 46 U.S. attorneys appointed by President Obama to resign.

According to the Justice Department, those resignations will “ensure a uniform transition.”

“Until the new U.S. attorneys are confirmed, the dedicated career prosecutions in our U.S. Attorney’s Offices will continue the great work of the department in investigating, prosecuting, and deterring the most violent offenders,” said spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores in a statement Friday afternoon.

As I stated earlier the Democrats and Liberals are going to claim all sorts of allegations that is evil and is nothing more then payback.  But this practice is not uncommon to ask the U.S. Attorneys that was appointed by the previous administration to leave their post when the new administration takes over.  George W. Bush and Bill Clinton also did the same thing when they took office and appointed a new Attorney General.

With all the problems that have been caused by the Obama holdovers, beginning with the Acting Attorney General Sally Yates who refused to defend President Trumps travel ban and was justly fired.

It has become clear that it is best to get the new people in the Justice Department to the job effectively.

And all I can say is that it is about time the house cleaning has started to get rid of all the Obama cronies in the government.
