NFL Blames Ratings Drop On Trump And Not The Real Problem

If you thought the NFL could not be more delusional in there thinking then this will change your mind.  The management minds of the NFL are claiming that the drop in ratings are the fault of Donald Trump and the 2016 Presidential election and not Colin Kaepernick’s ridiculous protest.

In a leaked memo from the NFL, they claim that one of the big reasons for the ratings to be down 11 percent is Donald Trump and the presidential race.

The NFL is blaming that the first presidential debate on Sunday September 26th and the second presidential debate on October 9th is bringing the ratings down because this is not an ordinary presidential election year.  Also in the memo the NFL states that “In 2000, during the campaign between George W. Bush and Al Gore, all four NFL broadcast partners suffered year-over-year declines — Fox was down 4 percent, CBS was down 10 percent, ABC was down 7 percent and ESPN was down 11 percent.”

But the one thing that the NFL does not admit in the drop of ratings is actually to the sick and disgusting protest that was initiated by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and other players.  The memo actually states the following:

“Finally, it is worth noting that we see no evidence that concern over player protests during the national anthem is having any material impact on our ratings.”

This just shows the arrogance and incompetence of the NFL and especially the commissioner Roger Goodell and also shows how out of touch they are with their fans.  The fact that the NFL will blame Donald Trump and the 2016 presidential for the drop in ratings is pure idiocracy.

It is time for the NFL or as I now call it the No Fun League to wake up to what the actually 2 problems that are causing the ratings to drop for them.  The first is the protest by Colin Kaepernick and other players and the second is the commissioner Roger Goodell.  Wake up before it’s to late NFL or it maybe already be too late to redeem yourself.
