According to the NAACP Chapter president Cle J. Jackson decided to make his outrageous claim and attack the Betsy Ross flag after Forest Hills Center High School students brought one to a Sept. 9 football game along with a Trump flag. Even though this flag is a part of American history and a part of the American Revolution the NCAAP claims it is racist.
Before with look at the comments of the NAACP Chapter president let us take at look at the Betsy Ross flag. This flag represents the 13 colonies that founded this nation with stars in a circular pattern on a blue background and 7 red stripes and 6 white stripes running horizontal. But by the definition of the Greater Grand Rapids NAACP Branch of Michigan it is a symbol of the racist Patriot movement in America.
Cle J. Jackson was quoted as saying:
“Celebrating flags co-opted by exclusionary movements, held next to political banners of a presidential candidate who has offended people of color and immigrants, and accompanied by chants of ‘Go home’ by some students at a majority White school to players at a predominantly African-American school are not coincidences by unaware students. They are intentional actions of intimidation and rooted in no agenda other than to insult, to injure, and to incite.”
Even though there is no proof that there were racist students at the game as Mr. Jackson claims, that it does not mean that the Betsy Ross flag is racist. I would like to ask Mr. Jackson a question to go along with his thinking. If a member of the white supremacist movement was to be walking down the street caring the banner of the NAACP and shouting racial slurs, would that not make the banner of the NAACP racist? If you follow his line of thinking it would. But in reality it would not make the NAACP banner and the Betsy Ross flag racist.
During a 2015 broadcast of his radio show Rush Limbaugh when the nationwide assault on the Confederate flag was taking place, Rush warned that the United States flag would be next flag to be attacked.
“The American flag has flown over a slave nation much longer than the Confederate flag did, folks. The American flag has flown over all kinds of atrocities,” he said, calling the purge an “all-out assault on what the left thinks is a last remaining enclave of solid Republican voters, and that is the South.”
Even though Rush does make some good points there the issue dives a whole lot deeper then just partisan politics. It is part of the globalist agenda to destroy anything that represents the symbol of resistance to central authority that controls everything. As long as good people honor and respect the historic symbols of freedom, then they will never bow down to the oppressive authority of evil.
